Steven A. Grant
Steven A. Grant, the founder of the Law Offices of Steven A. Grant, earned his J.D. Degree from Fordham Law School in 2002 and his MBA in Finance and Banking from the Pace Lubin School of Business in 1992. After graduating from Fordham Law, Grant clerked for the Hon. Cornelius Blackshear, SDNY banruptcy Court. Mr. Grant believed and quickly confirmed that in starting his own consumer law practice, he could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. In 2003, Mr. Grant founded the Law Offices of Steven A. Grant. Since then, Mr. Grant has represented numerous consumers in State and Federal Courts. The Law Offices of Steven A. Grant has allowed Mr. Grant to fully realize his passion for helping and protecting consumers at all stages of their legal issues including debt collection defense, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) violation and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) prosecution, bankruptcy relief, eviction and nonpayment defense, foreclosure defense and mortgage modification representation.
Mr. Grant is an active in a number of professional organizations including the New York County Lawyers Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates, Mr. Grant also provides pro bono legal services and counseling through organizations such as Brooklyn Bar Assocation's Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP), CLARO and NYCLA's pro bono counseling clinic. Mr. Grant treats every client with respect and integrity.
